SousVide User Agreement

1. Product provided and explicit non-goals
SousVide is provided as a cooking-planning and recordkeeping tool. It is meant to help you choose settings, run staged timers, and save results. It is not a brand-specific appliance controller, a food-safety certification service, or medical dietary advice.
2. Eligibility and responsible use
You are responsible for using SousVide safely, lawfully, and with good judgment about your ingredients, equipment, and environment. Do not rely on the app alone to decide whether food is safe to serve.
3. User content and local data
You remain responsible for your cook notes, photos, saved targets, and any other material you enter into SousVide. If you want a separate copy, you must keep your own backup.
4. In-App Purchases
If SousVide offers in-app purchases, Apple handles the transaction. Access to purchased content may depend on Apple-managed purchase status and the app's local entitlement record.
5. Apple terms
Use of SousVide on Apple platforms is also subject to the App Store and any Apple media-services terms that apply to your purchase or device.
6. Availability and changes
Settings, timers, compatibility, and other features in SousVide may be updated, changed, suspended, or removed over time.
7. Intellectual property
The SousVide software, interface, and original in-app content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may use the app for your own lawful personal use, but you may not copy or redistribute the app except where applicable law or the app expressly permits it.
8. Product-specific disclaimers and liability boundaries
SousVide offers guidance and organization only. It does not guarantee a cooking result, replace equipment instructions, or assume responsibility for independent food-safety decisions.
9. Termination, consumer rights, changes, and contact
You may stop using SousVide at any time. We may limit or end access if use is abusive, unlawful, or harmful to the product. Nothing in this agreement waives mandatory consumer rights that apply to you. Questions about this agreement may be sent to cooks@sousvide.app.
